Navigate to your Business Settings and add your existing WhatsApp number. This must happen before onboarding — takes under 2 minutes.

Fixed rate shared between mobile app and API. Sufficient for most businesses — upgrade to regular API for higher volume.

⚠️ No WhatsApp calls

Voice and video calls not supported for coexistence numbers.

⚠️ Group chats not synced

Message mirroring covers individual conversations only, not group chats.

⚠️ 14-day app activity

Must open WhatsApp Business App at least once every 14 days to maintain the connection.

Is the 5 mps limit enough for high volume?

For most businesses, yes. The 5 messages-per-second limit is shared between the mobile app and API. If you need higher throughput, a regular WhatsApp Business API number removes this cap — but requires a new number.
