How to Set Up a WhatsApp AI Bot That Sells High-Ticket D2C Products

A customer sees your Instagram ad for a IDR 5 million handmade sofa set. She clicks “Chat on WhatsApp” and asks, “What fabric options do you have?” A good bot answers immediately, sends the fabric catalog, and offers a paid video consultation. A bad bot says, “Thanks, we will get back to you.” She never replies again.
High-ticket D2C products do not sell like impulse buys. They need trust, guidance, and a clear path to purchase.
The five-part bot flow
Greet with context. Ask one qualification question. Send proof through catalog or reviews. Offer the next step: paid consultation, sample order, or checkout link. Capture commitment by collecting a deposit or scheduling.
Setup checklist
Connect the bot to your product catalog. Create templates for the top ten customer questions. Build a consultation booking flow. Add payment collection for deposits or full payment. Train the bot to push toward an order, not just answer questions.
Common mistake: the passive bot
Most bots answer questions endlessly without moving the sale forward. A sales-ready bot asks questions, narrows options, and offers a concrete next step every three to five messages.
The success metric
Measure consultations booked, deposits collected, and orders closed from WhatsApp. Those are the only numbers that matter.
The action
Pick one high-ticket product. Write the conversation path from first message to order. Build the bot around that path.
